2020Spring Matchmaking

Taiwan Institute of Economic Research is holding an Spring Matchmaking Conference at GIS NTU Convention Center on Mar. 26. Startups are invited to sign up and submit business plans for fundraising at the conference by Feb.21 12:00pm. The submitted business plans will be reviewed and presented at the conference on a selection basis.

In terms of the results achieved during the project implementation period from 2015 to December 2019, 20 matching events were organized, which were participated by 292 startups and 792 investors (total headcount). As of December, 2019, this project has created 6,203 matching opportunities for startups, leading to 71 venture fund injections amounting to NT$1.63 billion (disclosed by 60 startups receiving funds) through matching or mentorship. The total percentage of venture capital receivement was around 25%, and direct investment received in TIER's events was approximately 7%.
