"Co-creating Experiences and Transforming the Future" Forum: New modes of collaboration and sharing, joining hands in innovation and creating new mindsets

The Small and Medium Enterprise Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) held the "Co-creating Experiences and Transforming the Future" Forum today (the 18th) in Taipei City. This Forum invited some experts who have achieved successful experiences and solutions and came from a variety of fields in Taiwan. They take some innovative energy and thinking for the service industry.

As the business model develops more innovation and diversity, the old business models have encountered bottlenecks and challenges gradually. At this time, people have used technology tools to develop a diversified business model that has become a trend. As a result, many startups have found different ways of doing their new business. The forum was designed to assist small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to use science and technology to move toward digitized, experience-based and international development. For this reason, this forum adopted the theme of "Co-creating Experiences and Transforming the Future" This forum invited some experts to share the trends and cases of service of innovation, experience and applications.

Hsieh Ming-Yuan, iFit and ECFIT founder, Jeffrey Wu, WeMo Scooter founder and CEO and Lo Cheng-Yi, Wavenet Technology's GM who spoke respectively on the subjects: "Smart Commerce and Transforming the Future", "Infinite Possibilities for Sharing Business Opportunities" and "Digital Advertising Formula and the Sales Strategy of leverage. They talked about some cases of a perspective of combining the service industry with digital technology.

This forum also invited SME companies to share their experiences. Such as iDrip founder Yeh Chien-Han, Noodoe Corporation business associate Chen Chien-Shen, and Gameball Technology CEO Micky Chen attended to speak on "Technology-Supported Company: iDrip", "Transforming Business Performance Easily with Noodoe Service Cube" and "Sharing the Integrated 1Cup" respectively. They shared the strategies to facing the challenge of digitization, and provided some ideas for the SMEs to transform in the future.

Ho Chin-Tsang, the director general of the MOEA's Small and Medium Enterprise Administration said if SMEs lack innovative thinking and the construction of new business models, they would face the serve competitions and challenges in the era of the digital economy. So, it is must to do for SMEs to develop smart and digital applications. MOEA's Small and Medium Enterprise Administration will continue to assist the industry to build smart and innovative applications to enhance the marketing and international competitiveness of SMEs.

The forum attracted about 150 attendees from businesses and various audiences, including the wholesale and retail industry, food and beverage industry, lodging industry, and information and communications technology industry. The audiences responded enthusiastically. After sharing with the experts in the field, they hoped that they can combine the strengths of ICT operators, research institutions or governments with their existing advantages to use innovative technology to drive operation and development in the future and create new industry' opportunities.
